International Medical Clinic (IMC) specialises in family, paediatric and travel medicine. IMC has provided medical care in Singapore for over 17 years and is the first choice medical provider for the international community.
Dr Kym attained her medical degree with honours from Monash University and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners. Dr Kym has almost ten years of clinical experience in Australia and underwent further training in women’s and sexual health with Sexual Health Victoria. She also has additional training with Cancer Council Victoria in dermatology and skin cancer.
She has obtained a National Certificate in Reproductive & Sexual Health from Sexual Health Victoria and is accredited for intrauterine device (IUD) and Implanon insertion and removal. She also regularly performs other minor procedures such as iron infusions and skin excisions.
Dr Karien de Groof completed her medical training in Erasmus University, Rotterdam in 2009 and has worked as a resident in Paediatrics, Internal Medicine and Cardiology. In 2013 she completed her General Medicine training at the Medical Faculty in Erasmus, University of Rotterdam.
Dr Karien has worked as a GP in various practices in the Netherlands before moving to Geneva, Switzerland. In Geneva she worked as a doctor for an emergency home visit service and practiced as a GP in a medical center.
Dr Karien has completed additional training in trauma support, travel medicine, sports based medicine and nutrition.
In 2019 she moved to Singapore with her husband and two children. Dr Karien speaks Dutch and French fluently.

Dr Jacqueline Dukino

Dr Jacqueline Dukino graduated from The University of Sydney in 1996 and was awarded Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2002. Dr Dukino has worked in family run General Practices in regional centres in NSW and Queensland, Australia. Dr Dukino has also lived in Shanghai, China where she worked in an Expatriate General Practice and has an understanding of the issues faced by expatriates.
Dr Dukino has most recently worked near Ipswich, Queensland where her main areas of focus were Women’s Health, long term management of Mental Health and aged and palliative care. Dr Dukino has a particular interest in gender dysphoria and domestic family issues.
Dr Eldridge is a UK doctor who graduated from Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital in London UK in 1998. He intercalated this with a degree in Psychology. His main interest at the time was surgical and he attained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in 2002.
Dr Eldridge became a partner in a busy suburban London NHS practice for 5 years undertaking medicals and travel advice as well as working in corporate private clinics. Dr Eldridge relocated to Melbourne in 2012, to further his clinical experience. This involved working for a busy clinic providing emergency and operative care to the community. He is registered with UKOOA to perform off-shore medicals. Dr Eldridge is Head of Department for IMC Jelita.

Dr Sue Smith

Dr Smith graduated from University of Southampton in 2009. Dr Smith has a interest in diabetes and went on to attain a Certificate in Diabetes in Primary Care at King’s College Hospital in 2012 where she also worked in a tertiary diabetes clinic. She worked in General Surgery in East Kent in 2014 and has also worked in Palliative Care whilst a GP for over 2 years in 2016-17.
Dr Smith became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2017 and was practicing in the rural hub of a busy Canterbury practice in England prior to moving to Singapore with her family in 2018. Dr Smith is accredited as a legally qualified medical practitioner to issue LPA Certificates, gaining full LPA accreditation in 2020.
Dr Sonali Dass is a UK doctor who graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2007, before becoming a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2012. She undertook her General Practice training in the Oxford Deanery, UK where she worked in Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine and General Surgery.
Dr Sonali Dass practiced as a Family Physician in Beaconsfield and London NHS surgeries.
A graduate of the University of Queensland, Australia in 1993, Dr Phua was awarded the Graduate Diploma of Family Medicine & Graduate Diploma of Family Practice Dermatology at the National University of Singapore. Dr Phua has worked in Australia, New Zealand & Singapore. As part of the training for general practice, she has worked in adult medicine & surgery, paediatric medicine & neonatal intensive care unit, women’s health, sexual health, emergency medicine and general practice.
She has worked in family practice clinics as well as corporate clinics before joining IMC in 2003.
Dr King is a UK trained family doctor who has many years experience in women’s and children’s health. A graduate of the University of Dundee Medical School (2002), Dr King became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) with Merit in 2006. She has worked as a GP for 11 years, initially as a partner within a busy urban medical practice in Scotland for over 7 years. During this time she was a GP trainer for trainee doctors as well as mentoring 4th year medical students from Glasgow University.
Through a developing interest in women’s health Dr. King gained the Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Diploma of Child Health in UK (2004) and became a member of the Faculty of Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare (2005). Dr King has been a valued member of IMC for over 3 years. As a mother of four children Dr King appreciates women’s and children’s health both as a mother and a doctor.

A graduate of Queen’s University Belfast, UK in 2000, Dr Tan completed her Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2006. She completed her General Practice training in Birmingham, UK. She then worked at a practice in Central Birmingham for six years before moving to Singapore in 2012.
Dr Lih Yi is a very experienced Family Physician having enjoyed practicing medicine in the multi-cultural society residing in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Originally from Singapore, Dr. Vinu Sahlén graduated from the University of Aachen, Germany in 1998. She became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (UK) before undergoing training as a Family Physician in Sweden.
