Meet Dr Gina Dahel

Dr Gina is a fully qualified UK-trained Paediatric Consultant with over 15 years of clinical experience and the benefit of helping thousands of children and families throughout her career. She graduated from The University of Birmingham Medical School, UK, in 2005. During her training, she tried out many medical specialties, but none had the same spark and magic that working with children brings. Dr Gina’s paediatric training involved ten years of medical rotations in acute paediatrics, neonatal medicine, community and developmental paediatrics and several specialty rotations such as cardiology and respiratory medicine.
Teaching and advocating for change have always been important to Dr Gina. She has held various national and regional management roles such as RCPCH Trainee Representative, Regional Trainee Representative and Personal Mentor at the University of Birmingham Medical School.

Dr Gina completed her training in 2017 and received a Fellowship from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) in 2021. Here in Singapore, she has continued to teach and is currently a Clinical Facilitator at Lee Kong Chian Medical School. She is passionate about paediatric research and implementing evidence-based medicine into clinical practice. Dr Gina has published and presented clinical research and audits promoting best practices at national and international medical conferences.
