New Patients to IMC Healthcare
Are you new to IMC? First time, no problems. We recommend you visit our doctors page and have a look at our doctors bio’s, the team has various special interests and can speak many different languages.
Once you’ve chosen a doctor you can book online using our E-Appointment system. We will then send you a link to register as a new patient.
Can I use my Insurance? We offer Insurance Direct Billing with over 50 different Insurance companies. With an in-house Insurance Department we can process the claims and liaise directly with the insurance companies so you don’t have to.
Present your insurance card to our friendly reception staff and they’ll let you know if you’re with a participating insurance company. Alternatively, you can find a list of the insurance companies on our Insurance page.
We will also need to register a credit card on file.
IMC – Important Clinic Information
IMC operates on an appointment-based system to reduce waiting times. However, we do try and accommodate walk-ins as much as possible.
There are a few different ways to make an appointment:
- Book using our E-Appointment system. We recommend this option, as you can easily browse doctors and available appointments.
- Call the clinic to make an appointment.
We will do our best to see patients with appointments on time, but if unavoidable delays occur, our staff will keep you informed of the situation. In addition, upon making your appointment, you will be asked to give the reason for your visit. We ask so that our staff can allocate sufficient time with your doctor to complete any necessary paperwork, advise on the possible need for fasting, or perhaps decide on the necessity to see a nurse before you consult with a doctor.
Our consultation charges are based on the nature and complexity of your consultation. The doctor can explain the charges and any additional costs, such as diagnostic tests, at the end of the consultation. The consultation fees can be found in each clinic’s reception area.

IMC has agreements with a range of global insurance groups and medical assistance companies that work with us to offer a direct billing service to our patients. We deal directly with the insurance company to obtain payment based on your coverage. Please ask our Medical Receptionists about the insurance companies that offer direct billing arrangements with IMC. If your insurance company does not currently provide this service through IMC, at your direction, we may be able to approach your insurance company and attempt to establish a direct billing relationship. If you do not wish to utilise our direct billing service, full payment must be made after the completion of your appointment.
Please note that for us to provide medical services to meet your healthcare needs, it will be necessary for us to collect, use and disclose your personal data (which will be obtained directly from you or obtained as a result of our relationship with you). Without a complete record of your information, it will affect our ability to serve you. IMC is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data.
Following Section 6 of the Infectious Diseases Act (Cap. 137), every medical practitioner who has reason to believe or suspect that any person attended to or treated by him or her is suffering from an infectious disease or is a carrier of that disease shall notify the Ministry of Health (MOH) within the prescribed time and in such form or manner as the MOH may require.
IMC offers dispensing of pharmaceuticals from our internal dispensary in accordance with established practices in Singapore. Our policy is to utilise drugs by recognised manufacturers in original packaging wherever possible to provide the greatest confidence in the quality and effectiveness of said pharmaceuticals. Consequently, prices may be higher than other generic drugs. If requested, we can provide you with a written prescription should you wish to obtain your medications from an external dispensary.
IMC offers both in-clinic and third-party services. Our Medical Receptionist will arrange and bill for any additional service that you may be required to undertake outside of our clinic. These services include but are not limited to:
- Audiometry services
Prepayment of these services will be completed at the end of your appointment with IMC. No additional payment will be required to the third-party provider on completion of these services. Our Medical Receptionist will also assist in arranging referral appointments; please let your Doctor or Medical Receptionist know should you wish to use this service.
