Dr Hamilton completed his undergraduate studies in History and Religion at Auburn University before pursuing his medical degree at the University of Alabama, where he also undertook a year-long Pathology fellowship. After earning his MD, he went on to train in Paediatrics at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, and later completed a fellowship in Paediatric Hematology/Oncology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
After several years practising primarily in Paediatric Hematology/Oncology, Dr Hamilton and his family relocated to Singapore. He has been a registered Paediatric specialist in Singapore since 2010.

Outside of work, I love reading, especially history – often collecting more facts than anyone asked for. I enjoy cooking and continue my mission to convince my daughter that vegetables are delicious. I also dream of one day retiring to a pug ranch and spending my days watching small dogs run freely. I still enjoy distance running too, even if it’s not quite as effortless as it used to be!
