At IMC, we offer an Insurance Direct Billing Service for all eligible patients. We have a dedicated Insurance Department that manages claims and Insurance accounts. We work with one of the largest portfolios of Insurance providers in Singapore, dealing with over 50 different International companies.
Our direct billing service is entirely free for IMC patients. All you have to do is present your Insurance Card to our reception staff and we will check if you're with one of our participating companies. After that, you will need to complete one of our Patient Agreement Forms and then you're ready to go! If you have dependents, you can add them at the same time. It's that simple!
We will look after your claims and liaise directly with the Insurance Company, so you don't have to. Our Insurance Department will keep you up to date with your claims. If there are any queries, we will contact the treating doctor directly if any additional paperwork is required.

This depends upon your policy. Generally, they are split into 'outpatient' coverage, i.e the ability to visit health care providers outside of hospital such as doctors and dentists and 'inpatient' coverage, which covers certain costs if admitted to hospital.
You have the right to choose whichever healthcare provider you wish, but (depending upon your Health Insurance) some of the costs may not be covered. Having a GP and specialist plan added into your health insurance in Singapore can help you find a doctor that works for you and your family.
