Are you planning an overseas trip?

Whether you’re travelling for business or leisure, reviewing your current vaccinations and researching the vaccination recommendations at your travel destination is essential.

During our Travel Consultations, we ensure that your vaccines are up to date and make recommendations tailored to your travel plans to help prevent unwanted illnesses. We recommend that you schedule a Travel Consultation at least one month before your travel date. The earlier, the better. Some vaccinations require multiple doses or take a few weeks to become fully effective.

For all your travel health needs

We can provide vaccinations that offer protection against the following:

Bacterial Infections
Coughs/Colds
Travellers Diarrhoea
Dehydration
Cuts and Sprains

Allergies

Travel Kits contain prescription medication, so a consultation with a doctor is required.

We also have a range of insect repellents and insecticides available in the clinics.

Insecticide

Contack-II (Permethrin Concentrate)
Is an odorless insecticide for soaking clothes. Upon contact with permethrin-treated clothing insects will fall off and die almost immediately.

Repellents

DEET: DEET based repellents are safe to use and feel great on the skin. Please note DEET is not recommended for infants under 2 months of age. We stock a range of DEET products catered to both children and adults.

Picaridin: Picaridin insect repellents are an alternative for DEET-sensitive individuals.

We can also provide a Sharps Kit, popular with travellers heading to less developed countries where HIV/Aids and Hepatitis B are prevalent. The Sharps Kit contains a range of disposable syringes, needles, and alcohol wipes.
