Dr Karien de Groof completed her medical training at Erasmus University, Rotterdam, in 2009 and has worked as a resident in Paediatrics, Internal Medicine and Cardiology.
In 2013 she completed her General Medicine training at the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam. Dr Karien has worked as a GP in various practices in the Netherlands before moving to Geneva, Switzerland. In Geneva, she worked as a doctor for an emergency home visit service and practised as a GP in a medical centre.
Dr Karien has completed additional training in travel medicine, sports medicine and nutrition. In 2019 she moved to Singapore with her husband and two children. Dr Karien speaks Dutch and French fluently.
