Meet Dr Heather King

Dr Heather King is a UK‑trained family doctor with over twenty years of experience in general practice across the UK and Singapore. A graduate of the University of Dundee Medical School (2002), she became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) with Merit in 2006. She has been part of IMC for more than twelve years, following earlier roles as a GP partner in Scotland where, in addition to clinical work, she trained doctors, taught medical students, and participated in out-of-hours services.

At IMC, Dr King is dedicated to all aspects of family medicine, offering empathetic, holistic, and highly personalised care that allows her to build long-standing relationships with patients. She has a special interest in women’s health including menopause, sexual health, and contraception, supported by her UK qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Child Health, and Family Planning.

Beyond medicine, Dr King is passionate about fitness and empowers patients to stay active and healthy. Dr King loves being fit and active in a variety of different forms, pushing herself to the limits as a Women’s Hyrox Pro Athlete. She has won several Hyrox Pro Singles races and represented Scotland at the 2026 Hyrox World Championships in Sweden.

As a mum of four children, she understands the importance of balance, health, and happiness, and strives to support patients in achieving the same for themselves and their families.
