We are pleased to introduce Dr Lim Chun Siong who is joining our team in Camden. Dr Lim worked in Japan as an engineer before changing careers to medicine. Originally from Singapore, Dr Lim graduated from Flinders University in South Australia in 2011 and completed his internship and residency in hospitals in South Australia and Queensland (Australia).
After living overseas for 15 years Dr Lim returned to Singapore in 2015 and worked in public hospitals during which time he worked in emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology. Dr Lim also has experience in skin conditions and dermatology.

What’s your favorite part of being a doctor ?
Seeing patients smile after they are made well again.
With all your hospital experience why did you choose to be a GP?
As a GP, I can provide holistic care to my patients and their family, and help guide and support them throughout their healthcare journey.
I also enjoy building long term relationships with my patients and getting to know them better through years of care.
What’s your top local food tip to try?
Laksa and chilli crab for the spice loving adventurers out there, satay for meatlovers and Elemen元素 restaurant for lovers of asian vegetarian cuisines.
Why did you learn Japanese?
I was drawn by their manga culture, fashion and way of life. After I went to Japan, I realised that the best way to understand their culture was to first learn their language.
What do you do on your time off?
Hiking along various trails in Singapore, cycling or longboarding along East Coast Park and the Bay area, attending outdoor events such as concerts in the park and practicing my piano 🙂
What three things are on your ultimate bucket list?
- Learn golf
- Scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef
- Free and easy Europe tour
