Medical Receptionist
Our Singapore clinic has a need for Medical Receptionists to be part
of the in-clinic team of our expanding family practice. You will join
a dynamic team of professionals and be empowered with significant responsibility.
We seek pleasant medical reception staff to work in a friendly &
enjoyable working environment where we offer a very caring and personal
service to our expatriate patients. Excellent interpersonal skills are
required and the individual must be able to relate to many nationalities.
The individual must cope calmly under pressure and be skilled at multi-tasking.
The role involves supporting our doctors and clinical nurses, together
with administration activities related to patient files and requests
for imaging and pathology.
Ideally holding either a qualification or experience in a related healthcare
discipline would be an advantage. A customer service background would
be most relevant and computer skills are necessary.
Clinic Background
Our clinics, International Medical Clinic, provide family, paediatric
and travel medicine to the international community of Singapore. We
continue to expand, and currently have two clinics and an increasing
number of family doctor, who come from Canada, Australia and Singapore.
Our in-clinic support staff come from a diverse range of countries,
encompassing North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Our patient base is very diverse, reflecting the wide range of nationalities
in the expatriate community. The typical profile of expatriates is a
married couple between 30 and 40 years old, either expecting children
or already having a young family. A large portion of our patients are
therefore mothers and children. Whilst Singapore is itself free of some
tropical diseases, this group also travels regularly in the Asian region,
both for work and holidays, and consequently requires good travel medicine
advice.
Broad Terms
The broad terms of the package offered are:
- Full-time positions, with hours negotiable up to a maximum of 5 1/2
days per week
( except public holidays)
