Here is some background on the positions with our organisation: Family Doctors Our Singapore clinic has a need for Family Doctors in an expanding family practice. Full-time and part-time positions may be available. Paediatricians Our Singapore clinic has a need for General Paediatricians to enhance our expanding family practice. In particular we require a paediatrician with interests in general, behavioural, and developmental paediatrics. Clinic Background Our clinic, International Medical Clinic, provides family, paediatric and travel medicine to the international community of Singapore. We continue to expand, and currently have two clinics with increasing numbers of doctors, who come from Singapore, Canada, Australia, & the USA. Our in-clinic support staff include registered nurses who come from a diverse range of countries, encompassing North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. Our patient base is very diverse, reflecting the wide range of nationalities in the expatriate community. The typical profile of expatriates is a married couple between 30 and 40 years old, either expecting children or already having a young family. A large portion of our patients are therefore mothers and children. As the family develops a relationship with our clinic, we then see the father, usually being an executive with a multinational company. Whilst Singapore is itself free of some tropical diseases, this group also travels regularly in the Asian region, both for work and holidays, and consequently requires good travel medicine advice. The position is ideally suited to a doctor with sound experience in private practice. The main areas of practice include women’s health, paediatrics, executive health, travel and tropical medicine. Our doctors are attracted to Singapore as a location which offers a vibrant expatriate lifestyle in a tropical and cosmopolitan Asian centre, with easy access to all countries of the region. We also offer attractive remuneration with expatriate benefits, and good opportunities exist for spouse employment. The very low income tax of Singapore is an added bonus.
